Marketing & Communications
The SCE Office of Marketing and Communications will work with Finance & Administration staff to understand your communications needs and to help with your projects. Through conversations, brainstorming, strategic planning and implementation, we will help share your key messages to the right audiences across multiple platforms. We provide communication planning, media relations, editorial services, design services, photographic and video services and other marketing, including social media.
Your request will be reviewed and assigned to a team member who will contact you to discuss your project needs.
Service Offerings Overview
Below is a listing of services currently identified and offered through the service center.
We design custom websites or web pages and develop them from the ground up. We offer sitemaps, wireframes, design and coding. Once the site is complete, we provide content updates and troubleshooting as well as training for you to manage your own site. We also provide custom application development. We use Google Analytics for tracking website metrics and can provide detailed information and reports about visitors to your site.
Our team promotes your news, events and initiatives. We provide news story development — including research, interviews and writing — and share that news through a host of platforms, from website and campus publications to social media. We also provide media relations support and coordinate responses to public records requests.
We provide photography, video, script-writing and post-production services for a variety of Finance and Administration projects. Our work ranges from event photography and video to a tutorial on how to use a new parking meter. We can create PowerPoint and other visual presentations, including display screen graphics. We manage social media accounts for Finance and Administration departments. We also serve as a liaison to campus design, video and photography resources, as well as to freelancers for projects we need to outsource.
